Every MasterCraft comes with MasterCare – our factory-backed, all-inclusive warranty providing five years or 500 hours of complete peace of mind. For full terms, conditions, and exact coverage details, please consult page 587 of the 2025 Owner’s Manual.

Ilmor provides an industry-leading 7-year or 1,000-hour factory-backed limited warranty as standard on all naturally aspirated MasterCraft engines. For owners who opt for the high-performance 6.2L Supercharged powerplant, coverage is extended through a comprehensive 5-year or 500-hour factory warranty.

Upon handover to the original owner, we will process and finalise your boat’s warranty registration as your official dealer. Formal registration is essential to meet relevant statutory requirements and ensure your coverage is active. Additionally, this enables us to keep you updated with critical updates, service advisories, and any essential safety recall notices regarding your craft.

Any remaining balance of your warranty can be transferred to a subsequent owner for the duration of the original coverage period.

To complete a warranty transfer upon the sale of your vessel, the second owner must arrange for the boat to be inspected at an authorised MasterCraft dealership. The following requirements must be fulfilled within fourteen (14) days of purchase and within five (5) years of the original retail sale date:

• A copy of the bill of sale or purchase invoice

• Payment of the $500 warranty transfer fee

• A completed MasterCraft dealer inspection report

Proper care, maintenance, and adjustments ensure your MasterCraft operates at peak performance while extending its operational life and resale value. Below is a summary of our recommended service intervals. As your official dealer, we recommend all work be completed by our factory-trained technicians.

New Boat Break-In: Check propeller shaft alignment. Have our service department replace the fuel filter after the first fifty (50) hours of operation, and again at one hundred (100) hours. The fuel filter must be changed annually, even if fewer than one hundred (100) hours were logged the prior season.

Quarterly Maintenance (Every 50 Hours): Inspect safety equipment. Have our service team perform an oil change.

Annual Maintenance (Every 100 Hours): Replace the fuel filter. Verify propeller shaft coupler alignment. Lubricate steering systems along with throttle and shift cables. Inspect engine mounts and check the complete fuel system for leaks. Test on-board fire extinguishers and suppression equipment. Replace impellers.

Consult your engine manual prior to every trip to ensure all drivetrain requirements are met. You should also review the Safety Checks and Services section of your Owner’s Manual for key procedures to carry out before, during, and after each outing.

Before Each Outing: Check the raw water intake strainer for debris, inspect the transmission cooler (if fitted) if a blockage is found, and clean the seacock strainer as required. Verify engine coolant levels per your engine manual. Ensure battery connections and retaining straps are secure. Inspect the drivetrain for loose or missing fasteners, and check shift and throttle cables for binding, wear, or obstruction. Verify the propeller shaft seal is free from excessive leakage, and inspect all fuel lines and connections for leaks. Watch for water ingress or strong exhaust fumes, and verify your dashboard voltage gauge indicates a fully charged battery upon engine start.

After Each Outing: Review the Cleaning the Boat and Corrosion Prevention sections of your Owner’s Manual for detailed post-use care. Teak platforms and wooden accessories also require routine treatment to preserve their finish. If your craft features an optional engine flushing system for saltwater or brackish conditions, run the flush cycle after use.

Proper winterisation and seasonal lay-up are essential to protect your boat and its onboard systems from costly damage. Because end-of-season storage occurs annually, it serves as the ideal time to carry out your routine annual maintenance. If you launch in saltwater or brackish environments, rinse the entire trailer thoroughly with fresh water after every outing to prevent corrosion from salt buildup. Washing the trailer annually with a mild detergent and applying a quality automotive wax will help preserve its finish and keep it looking pristine.
