The MasterCraft X-25, which was submitted for its innovative digitally adjustable wake system, tracking camera and variable seating configuration was said to be a combination that made the X-25 "a unique 22-foot platform" according to the NMMA press release. In addition one of the judges, Alan Jones of Boating World magazine noted, "This boat addresses the wake surfing market, which is one of the fastest growing segments of the industry and does it in a fun, innovative way."
"Without a doubt, MasterCraft is honored to receive this award," says Jason Boertje, MasterCraft marketing director. "More than anything, it is affirmation from the best in the industry that we are who we say we are – leaders of innovation."
