Loch Stock Wakeboard Tour 2009 in Association with MasterCraft Boats UK

The Loch Stock Wakeboard Tour 2009 is now officially underway after the scenic shores of Loch Lomond played host to the first of three tour stops on 23rd and 24th May.

While the typical Scottish weather deterred some, the Scots once again proved their dedication enduring strong winds and pouring rain for the majority of the Saturday coaching day. Unbelievably despite the weather there was still a constant stream of kitted up riders on the dock waiting for a set behind the 2009 Mastercraft X2 supplied and sponsored for the weekend by MasterCraft Boats UK.

Fortunately they don’t come more dedicated than Relentless rider Matt Crowhurst, who endured the weather all day to provide expert coaching, along with David Coates who made the trip from South Africa to be at the event! Many riders came down to the Loch on Saturday to ride behind the official tow boat of the tour and to pick up some hot tips and improve their skills and ability.

Sunday saw an improvement in the weather and Scotland’s riders got their chance to shine and judging by some of the groms on the water, it won’t be long before riders north of the border are starting to make a name for themselves.

The next tour stop is at Auchenreoch Loch in Dumfries of the 20th & 21st June 2009 and is set to be even bigger, so make sure you don’t miss it- for more info including accommodation info and sponsor news go to www.Loch-Stock.com.

Big thanks to all the sponsors behind the event, Mastercraft ,Relentless and Loch Lomond Wakeboard School for going beyond the call of duty, not to mention Phitt Clothing, Transgression Skatepark, Xtreme Gene, Liquid Force, and Alliance wakeboard mag. Also thanks to DJ Shaun and the guys from Bonnington lane studios for keeping the tunes pumping all day.

These guys aren’t just supporting Loch Stock, they’re supporting Scottish wakeboarding.

See you on the 20th/21st June for Stop 2 - Auchenreoch Loch, Dumfries
